About this app

The emergency mode is intended to attract the attention of people in the vicinity to ensure faster assistance. This is done via visual (e.g. flashlight) and acoustic signals. If the battery level is too low, individual functions of the emergency mode are deactivated to save battery power.

The speed dial is also integrated. Thus, all contacts stored in the quick dial (emergency contacts) are automatically informed via SMS about an emergency situation with your location data (longitude & latitude, address and a link to GoogleMaps and, if applicable, the reason for the emergency situation) when emergency mode is activated.

If your location data changes and the screen is still activated, all emergency contacts will be notified again with the new location data. Even though this may result in a lot of messages, the attention of the emergency contacts should be given by the many messages. Therefore, when creating emergency contacts, we recommend that you contact them.

You can choose between 3 different modes:
Standard: Visual and audible signals with notification of emergency contacts.

Silent alarm: No visual and acoustic signals. Notification of emergency contacts.

"I'm not feeling well" mode: Button must be held in the mode. If it is not held, a countdown of 45 seconds starts. After that, the standard mode is activated.
