Come in Pitt Boss, hire an app developer. Need to improve Wifi functionally in my Brand new smoker. I understood the app was basic, but the connectivity issues render it useless. I have to walk to the grill each time to re-establish connection, even if I don't move, but use another app on my phone. Please test this in real world environments and make the needed improvements. I don't have this experience with any other blue tooth device.

Need to have android 10 support. I have the note10+ on Android 10 and the app does not work at all. My wife's Samsung a50 with android 9 works flawlessly. There is a obvious problem here that needs to be solved. It does not actually connect to the grill. Its just stuck in the discovering process. Even though grill is on and being used. Model is the lockhart. As of 7/18 new firmware update keeps shutting the lockhart off randomly.

Firmware wont update. Developer said there would be an update for android on 3/4, but nothing. No option to go back a page or search recipies by name. The smoke IT APP is basically worthless as its bluetooth. If I'm limited to 20ft, why not just go to my grill? No options to turn off or reduce heat when temp probe reaches a certain temperature. Update 7/22/20. Still a POS. nothing but a constant firmware update loop on galaxy 10. Pitboss should be ashamed at having this developer for its app.

Please fix your app! Anyone reading this, I cannot recommend a pit boss grill, and especially not one with smoke-IT.... This app will not work at all and it's clear it's a problem with all androids therefor a problem with app development. Also, I have had an open customer service claim for over a month due to some damaged parts out of the box. Every company is affected by covid, but there is no communication on their website, or here, about when they plan to resolve these app and general issues

The app is horrible. You have to get a code sent to your email to create account. Once you leave the app to retrieve said code from email, it won't let you back in. Can't create a new account because its already been created, but can't log in because the email address hasn't been confirmed. Thank goodness they are good at making grills, because they absolutely suck at making apps.

Two apps and both are bad. The app is non responsive, I have to press the links or icons many times before an action is taken. Login doesn't work from one app to another.
