App is just OK. Definitely has room for improvement. The range is pretty short, but if you connect the smoker to your WiFi, it definitely improves the range. There needs to be the ability to change the notification sounds when the desired temperature is reached on the probes. It would be nice the split the timer and temperature settings as well. Right now they are overlayed too closely and makes it difficult to set with the slide dial. Let the user type in the numbers in two defined areas.

Allows you to adjust grill temp, and set probe temp notifications, and monitor temps, but that is about it. What would make this app a whole lot more useful is recipe set up and control, and auto shut down/cool down option after the food has reached temp. At minimum, everything you can set on the controller should be a funtion on the app. The app should completely emulate the controller at the very least.

This app is glitchy as all get out. Do not try to connect to the same smoker on the same network with an Apple device and an Android device at the same time. Had my 850 Pro all jacked up. Even installed a new main temp sensor. Still garbage. Y'all need to work this out. Huge let down. Not happy with this app at all.

Absolute garbage. Unless your standing within about 5 feet, this app is useless. Walk around your yard too far, you'll have to log back in. I've also had to register more than once. Right after doing so I had my wife download it and it didn't recognize my registration. Time to start over with this thing. It's a good thing I own much better thermometers than this. Of course the worst ones I've used are still better than this one...

What a great idea, shame it hardly works.Changing the temp works most of the time. Timer doesn't seem to set off a sound if the app isn't up or if your phone goes to sleep. Also you can set your target temp for probes but if you switch between apps or you phone goes to sleep then the target temp is cleared and you have to reset it. I love the grill but this app isn't reliable for anything beyond checking current temps.

First off requiring login is complete BS. Requiring location for BT/wifi is a flat out lie. The difculty with login annoys.Provides the bare minimum. Better off with wireless thermometer. As this is the only func The dial widget responds to taps that aren't on the line. Setting a timer is painful. Resolution is in minutes and no indicator that it is running. can't manually enter values. Doesn't provide access to the recipe settings. Will return grill for app free version which is less expensive
