Basically a good app. The big minus being that it appears to determine my location based on my ISP location when on wifi at home. On the Mississippi Gulf Coast that's a problem when dealing with severe weather. Example: I know that the nearest reporting station is less than 2 mi from my house. The app uses a reporting station q8 mi away near my ISP location. Several other weather apps do the same thing while some use GPS.

Not bad, but I don't like the forced portrait orientation; note that some Androids are tablets used in holders in landscape mode!!! The radar and satellite features also don't appear to work. Running Android 9 on a fairly new GalaxyTab 5se.

This app is very basic. It loads the National Weather Service's mobile page without launching your browser. If you're familiar with the NWS mobile page you know it's clean and we'll organized, but accesses and displays all of the same data as the full page for your current location. The app here is simple, and helpful as it retains searched locations, making mobile site access launches possible with just one tap. Too bad the developer doesn't charge like a $0.99 one time fee for downloads, because it takes the hassle out of using the browser on your phone to launch the page data. Samsung Galaxy S8, Oreo 8.0.0 - This app works great and is exactly what I was looking for. The app provides a shortcut to the National Weather Service and has no annoying ads. The app is quick to load and has all of the features I was looking for. My thanks to the developer for a simple lightweight app that works great!

This is a good weather app. No bells and whistles, just good weather reporting. Regularly updated and you can go to the weather discussion if you want to dig deeper. Also, this is the lightest weight weather app I have found on Google play. UPDATE : What happened to the icons . An accurate weather app that is, well, boring. 5 to 3 stars.

It was ad free so it gets an additional star for that but being in a hurricane path and season I need a radar that works.
