Update: I had it with this app. 1 year after it was developed and they still have major bugs. Still can't update the firmware through app. It wouldn't be so bad if the cellular update process even worked. Don't but this bike and look forward to the app it cellular connection or you will be disappointed. It had so much potential. Shame whomever is developing Android app doesn't know what they are doing. IOS app is not perfect but much better.

Was great at first but started failing to open unless you grant location permission all the time (it should be fine with just when the app is in use, or even never). Also no longer get charging-complete notifications.

The app was working until early October, it keeps crashing upon opening. The 10/13 update still hasn't fixed this issue. (Device: Sony X1, android 10) Checked again in 10/23 and still keep crashing upon opening.

Closes immediately after opening if it doesn't persistent location permission. It has location permission while in-use, but not all the time. I'm going to wager gross incompetence here rather than maleficence, but not a good look either way. I expect teething issues, but when I pay $20000 for a motorcycle and there are still these types of issues over a year a later, it tries my patience.

As of Oct 2020 app will not allow logins, so no ride capture, no cellular connection, etc. Charge Target also does not work for me. A zero representative advised me today they are aware it has problems and are currently working to correct them.

It fails to start, and zero does not respond to emails or answer the phone.

• Personalized dash options
•.Scheduled and target-based charging
•.Charging station location assistance

The Connected Bike

MY20-MY21 SR/F and SR/S, and MY22-MY23 SR, SR/F and SR/S are connected through cellular networks, transmitting info to the App at all times. Ride information, current bike status and location are always available. This connectivity gives you the ability to monitor the bike in four (4) main areas: Bike Status & Alerts, Charging, Ride Data Sharing, and System Upgrades & Updates.

New features

• We've simplified the firmware update experience; each ECU can now be updated separately.

• Additional fixes to improve firmware update functionality.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

• We recommend key-cycling your bike after updating each ECU.

• If you run into an elusive bug we are actively pursuing where the app gets stuck on the firmware update prerequisite screen, please try restarting the app.
