Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing BC Liquor Stores on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

Please fix the inventory numbers. Was told by a BC Liquor store manager that it's accurate and can trust. Stock was out for over 2 weeks but still showed 2 bottles available. Drove half hour for nothing. Make sure inventory numbers do reflect stock level. Otherwise it's no point. Might as well remove from app.

App is generally straightforward but there's no quick and easy way to check a particular store for a product. You have to first locate your product then scroll thru a lengthy list of all BCLs in the province; the stores are listed alphabetically by branch name which isn't necessarily the city name so they can be tough to find. Improve the product search by location and you'll vastly improve the usefulness of this app!

App only works if you have a WiFi connection; so when you go to the liquor store and try and bring up your favourites, it crashes because it can't load the latest catalogue and thus Nantes the app worthless

Outside of checking prices and stock its garbage. It keeps crashing or can't load. Had to re-install a few times therefore looses your preferrences. I've given up on it. Better than calling the store i guess.

On my Galaxy 7 Edge, it regularly stops working and shuts down. Bar code scanner doesn't work. Nice to be able to see my wishlist by store. Should also be able to save or export wish list details.

While I don't mind the app, the one thing that really turns me off is the inability to make an account. I've had to do fresh installs and my phone couple times now and you always lose progress of your wines because there is no way of saving it. Adding this function will make it a solid liquor store application.
