Although I wish it had a help section to explain the icons, I still love this app. As a synthwave fan, I use it on a daily basis. My favorite effect is HDR, even though I don't know what it stands for. It makes a picture look like one of those 80's movie posters with all the dots. If you feel like the effects are too obvious, then you can customize the transparency of them to make them look more subtle. I highly recommend this app!
