I downloaded this through the Play Pass so there should have been no in-app buying to ads......and there were both. It only worked right the very first time I launched it but after that, it kept showing ads or asking me to do the subscription. I've even trying Uninstalling and and reinstalling it and it's still messing up. Which is sad because it's so cute!

Too laggy. I paid the monthly subscription to have the big widget. It shows a lot of usefull information and the photos were awesome. However, it was never updated. I would have to launch the app separately, wait a long time for it to load, and then usually (but not always), the big widget would work. But even when constantly on wifi it wouldn't keep up-to-date. I tried messing with Android settings because I know Android tries to chokehold battery use but changing settings didn't help either. I

Cute little app if you like cats but it has problems with the paid subscription. At least 2 or 3 times a day it tells me I haven't paid for Prime (which I have) and I need to restore purchases. It wouldn't normally be a big deal but it stops the widget from working whenever it happens. Kind of disappointed TBH. Until it's fixed I don't recommend paying for the subscription.

I like it a lot!! I took off one star because I wish there were better sizing of the widgets. The small one takes more space than it needs and is hard to see...the large one is too large. I wanna see the kitties without reading glasses or using an entire screen...lol! But it is adorable and functional otherwise!

I've used the free version of this app for a few years now & love it. It's easy to use & never glitchy. I had to get a new phone last week & initially thought Weather Kitty wouldn't be compatible with the new phone. I was so disappointed until I found out I was wrong. I thought, shoot, I need to just spring for the paid version since I love it so much, then I can enjoy the paid features, too. If you enjoy cats & you like knowing what to expect with the weather, then Weather Kitty's perfect!

The app itself? It's solid. More features than many weather apps, and just as accurate. The fact that the settings has a featured shelter is a good thing, too. Too many animal shelters and rescues are struggling right now. But the standout thing about this particular app is the customer service. I bought access to a theme six years ago. A theme that doesn't appear to even be available anymore (Grumpy Cat, for those who are curious). Last week, I had to replace my phone. And "restore purchases" for whatever reason didn't restore my theme. So I e-mailed customer service. Even though it'd been six years and I'd spent a whole $2 on the app, they were able to help me out and restore the missing theme.
