About this app

Priya Prakash Varrier is a Malayalam actress who shot to overnight social media fame in India. Her claim to fame was a clip in which she winks which was put online, appearing for ten seconds, in a video clip trailer for a song in a Malayalam film. She has become the most searched for celebrity in India in a span of two days.

Priya was born in Poonkunnam, Thrissur district of Kerala in South India. She lives in Thrissur and is pursuing a B. Com. degree at Vimala College, Thrissur. Her father Prakash Varrier works with the central excise while her mother Preetha Prakash Varrier is a house-wife. She has a younger brother named Prasiddh Varrier and they live with their grandparents.

Priya has acted in three short films including Kadalasu Thoni and Third Flip directed by Lewin Louies Thattil. She has also done modelling, has participated in beauty pageants and is also trained in Mohiniyattam.

Her debut feature film, Oru Adaar Love, is scheduled for release on 3 March 2018. The pre-release of the song "Manikya Malaraya Poovi" from the film attracted attention on social media.
