An initiative of the Government of Maharashtra to provide a marketing platform to rural entrepreneurs and artisans, MahalaxmiSaras is an annual exhibition-cum-sale of handicrafts, handlooms and food products. In its 14th year now, MahalaxmiSaras 2017 will be held from the 11th of January 2017 to the 23rd of January 2017 at Bandra, Mumbai. Over the years, MahalaxmiSaras has carved a niche for itself as a platform for interaction and exchange of innovative ideas, developing skills and spreading knowledge about indigenous and traditional products for artisans from different parts of the country. One of the biggest rural exhibitions held in the country.
