Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Lake Michigan Marine Forecast on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.

About this app

Offers instant weather information for boaters on Lake Michigan including wave height, wind speed, temperature and more. Also shows Marine Radio Channel 1 data for Chicago / Southern Lake Michigan in Plain Text for fast load. Radar & Cloud Maps on tabs plus location if you're lost on the Lake under HELP! tab. This is a simple app I created for myself to use at Hammond Marina but I decided to share it for anybody who wants to use it. It tells you instantly what's important before you go out.

Data for entire Lake Michigan and local Chicago area current conditions information for Wilmette Harbor, Northerly Island and Calumet Harbor. Also includes U.S. Coast Guard contact info for emergency needs with a 'Show Me Where I Am Right Now' button.
