Absolute GARBAGE app!!! No matter what I try including advice from Laview support this app will not connect. I've been an IT professional for over 20 years and have never ever had so much trouble setting up remote viewing for DVRs and NVRs. Laview Net (which btw is no longer available on the play store but can be found on archive sites as an APK) is no better for remote viewing from the internet, but at least you can watch and playback video if you are on the LAN side of the network. I am really beginning to regret getting this Laview system to begin with. Next time i will spend the extra money and get a good quality system. Possibly even a commercial grade system since they usually work the FIRST TIME, EVERY TIME!

LaView Security Cameras are Garbage. Wasted money and time on this trash. No desktop app, unstable mobile app, crappy DVR that crashes so frequently.

Works ok except for: 1. Defaults to HD quality so it destroys your data. Click on 'fluent' and it'll drop the quality to the substream. 2. Only opens 4 cameras at a time. You can go back and deselect certain cameras to select others...but it's limited to 4 max. I liked the old IVMS4500 app. That thing was a beast.
