Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing ShadowBox on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.

About this app

The ShadowBox app is designed to work in conjunction with ShadowBox LED lamps from VividLite. Connect to a ShadowHub Controller through your phones Wi-Fi and use the ShadowBox App to control the color, brightness, or many other modes of your ShadowBox wireless LED lamp.

Features: Color wheel, Color button pad, custom color creation/selection, brightness adjust, preset color transitions modes (smooth/flash/strobe). Custom mode creation. Connect up to 30 ShadowBox lamps. Control and target individual lamps or group them together all using your smart device.

Instruction: Power on your ShadowHub Controller (optionally, plug it into your wireless router for to network it into an existing network). Connect your phones WiFi to the ShadowHubs WiFi (ShadowHubxxxxx) or to your wireless router network if the ShadowHub is connected directly to that. Once connected, start the Shadowbox App, and you're ready to go! For more information, please refer to your ShadowBox manual or visit www.VividLite.com.
