About this app

Please note that you need a Multichannel VPN Hub as remote station to use the Viprinet VPN Client.

The Viprinet VPN Client is the ideal complement to your Viprinet infrastructure: It generates a virtual network adapter in the user's smartphone, which can be used to bundle two different Internet access points (e. g. LTE and WLAN) to form a highly secure Internet connection. With this software solution, field staff can be safely and efficiently integrated into the company VPN. If one of the two connections fails, e. g. because the area of the WLAN hotspot has been left, this does not cause a connection interruption. The industry standard SSL in combination with 256 Bit AES is used for encryption.

The Viprinet VPN Client for Android sets standards in user-friendliness. A friendly and clear interface makes dialing into the company network easy, even for non-professionals. The integrated monitoring provides a convenient overview of the load and performance of the line (s) used. The central administration of all VPN clients is run via the Multichannel VPN Hub, to which the client is configured. VPN clients provide a separate subnet for the Multichannel VPN Hub, for which own routing rules can be defined. The routes used by the VPN clients can also be defined centrally, e. g. whether all Internet traffic is to be handled by the VPN, or only data traffic from/to specific networks. For experienced users of the VPN client, these parameters can be optionally bypassed within the VPN client.

The download of the Viprinet VPN App is free of charge; in order to use a VPN client connection, the "Viprinet VPN Service" app and a VPN client license are required, which can be purchased from a certified Viprinet partner for individual users or with a price advantage in staggered license packages. Client licenses can be purchased at any time. Client licenses can also be transferred without any problems when changing the VPN hub.
