In September of 1979, after working in Mason, MI for two years, Dr. Brummel opened the Hillside Veterinary Hospital on Byron Road just east of Zeeland. In November of 1983, the busy and growing practice was moved to its current location at 320 North State Street near downtown Zeeland, and renamed Zeeland Veterinary Hospital, P.C.
