Our friendly staff and veterinarian, Dr. Michalena Satowski, welcomes you and your four-legged or feathered family members to Companion Care Veterinary Hospital. Treating dogs, cats, birds, exotics, rabbits, reptiles, and pocket pets. We are committed to providing our clients and their pet’s top quality, personalized care. Our clients and their furry friends enjoy our full service facility designed and decorated with comfort in mind. In our relaxing clinic, you will not find any stark, white walls or harsh lighting. We designed our office to be a tranquil, positive environment you and your pets enjoy visiting. From our full service boutique veterinary clinic located in San Diego, CA, we serve pets from all surrounding areas including North County, 4s Ranch, Ramona, Carmel Mountain Ranch, Escondido, and Del Sur.
Expect Personalized Veterinary Service at Every Appointment
At Companion Care Veterinary Hospital, our veterinarian and full staff provide patients and clients personalized care with every visit whether it’s a wellness or preventative care appointment or an emergency urgent care visit. We want every client and patient to leave happy, healthy, and with all questions and concerns addressed. At each consultation, we spend at least one hour with each pet and pet parent to ensure every office visit benefits you and your pets. Our veterinarian spends individual time visiting with each pet and client, performing a physical examination and interviewing the pet owner about the pet's behavior, diet, and activity to ensure optimal wellness for every animal we meet.
Dr. Satowski strongly believes that prevention is the best medicine. We encourage new pet owners to schedule wellness and vaccination appointments for their young animals. During an initial wellness appointment, our veterinarian will assess your pet's overall health, looking for any underlying conditions or illnesses which might benefit from an early diagnosis. In addition, we will set your new pet up on a scheduled wellness plan of required vaccinations, like rabies and feline leukemia, and recommended procedures spaying or neutering to ensure your new family member has the best opportunity to enjoy an illness-free, love-filled, happy life with his or her new owners.
In addition to wellness checks and preventative appointments, Dr. Satowski is experienced with performing in-office surgeries and highly trained in diagnosing and treating endocrine disorders, skin conditions, and pet allergies. We offer a full menu of veterinary services from surgeries, urgent, and emergency care to wellness and holistic treatments such as ultrasound, acupuncture, and cold laser therapy. Our clinic is fully equipped with a full digital x-ray, an in-house lab, and a complete staff of veterinary professionals. Although we offer the latest in treatment technology and methods, we still consider ourselves an old fashioned veterinary clinic, working calmly, patiently, and gently with each patient. We also strive to give back to the communities we serve by providing veterinary care for rescued animals.
