I was looking for a lightweight application focused on tracking travel expenses for our latest adventure. I had reviewed several applications before leaving and selected HandTrip as it clearly appeared the easiest to setup and use. No regrets as it performed beautifully during our 3 month travel. Any wait time along our travel (e.g. waiting at restaurant, bus ride, airport) was always a great time to catch up on expenses with HandTrip. My only wish for a future version would be to have more control on the categories such as being able to rename the pre-defined ones and sort them on the drop down - That would convince me to upgrade to the Pro version!

It's clear the developers have done some hard work to make this app as user-friendly as possible. Non-invasive permissions (allowing you to take photographs of receipts, etc.) and a simple, beautiful interface. Base currency can be updated to reflect home country and automatically calculates the exchange rate of the country you're visiting. Brilliant.

I bought this app. Its amazing but there are certain things needs to add. 1) I cannot select the project on main window to drag it up or down. 2) My self-made catagories do not show up when the project is being restored in app. (it shows etc catagory instead of my made catagories). Thats why I am giving 4 stars. Please add and fix this options.

Best app for budgeting trips easily, I love that they have added the option of creating your own categories of expenses (I added laundry, alcohol, fuel,...) this app is litterally what made staying on track of our tight budget an easy task during our 18month backpacking trip. I absolutely adore this app!

great little app you can start using right away after download for free but cannot extract pictures of receipts in the free version and don't know if the Pro version allows it??? Also could use mileage tracking for vehicle travel.

A great App. !! We used it for our entire trip, so useful and user friendly. Exactly what we needed. We could even use different currencies and export all data in the end
