First run: detected the buzzer but none of the shots. After tinkering with settings got it to work. Random buzzer is a nice feature. Overall is fairly useless. The log shows the time of the first shot, overall time and the number of shots. No ability to pull up splits. No ability to assign shooting strings to a shooter.

If it had random start delay and par time adjustment in 100th of a second increments or at least 10th of a second, It would be perfect. I eould even pay to get that upgrade.

For me it records 1st shot only and ignores the rest. Or does not record shots at all. Tried tinkering with sensitivity and other settings, no luck.

Beeps are not audible using my Android. Where are the beeps? If it beeped, it might be useful.

About this app

Shot timer IPSC: Competition shooting timer.
Shot timer IPSC is a program that responds to sound of gunshots, recording the time that they occur. Shot timer also can give a start signal and capable of producing a stop signal.

A shot timer is one of the very best pieces of firearms training gear. To advance your skill, you must be able to measure it. One way to gauge your ability is with a target. It will tell you how accurately you are shooting and if you have any problem areas. But while targets will tell us how accurately we are performing a task, it will not tell us how quickly.
