About this app

Remote Alert is a suite of personal protection and safety apps designed for ease of use and 24/7 protection. Our apps are Monitored by a UL listed central station which is manned 24 hours a day. No matter where you are at within the contiguous United States, as long as you have cell service or wireless connectivity, we can locate you and dispatch the appropriate responders.

Multiple types of personal protection & safety apps are available, they all use this same download. Take a look at our web site, www.remotealert.com or call us today at 214-960-4564 to learn more about Remote Alert and our product offering.

Don't rely on apps that call friends and family which may not be available. Get our app where you are guaranteed a response as we have operators on staff 24/7 that are trained for these situations.

An overview of our original personal protection & safety app is below, this is just one of the apps we offer:

4 Key Features:

The “Send Help” feature, when activated, will send a duress signal to our UL listed central monitoring station. Simply swipe your finger across the “Send Help” button and the app will send your GPS coordinates and trigger a duress signal at the central station. At the bottom of each screen there is a text area for you to share more information about the alarm with our central station. Once you trigger the alarm you will also find three buttons, Medical, Police, Fire which you can select to transmit specific information about the type of assistance needed.

The app gives real time feedback so you know when we receive your alarm and have dispatched
the authorities. Should the user move more than 25 meters (80 feet), an updated location will be available to the operator.

The user can request cancellation of the alarm using a previously agreed cancel code.

“Start a Meeting” allows the user to set meeting details and start a meeting timer from 15 minute to 120 minutes ( 2 Hours ) Once activated the smart phone will send to our system your GPS location, the amount of time you have set it for along with the meeting details. The time will be kept in our system so even if the phone is turned off or destroyed we already have your data. If the timer expires a Duress alarm activation will occur. The time can be extended and or ended with a valid safe word.
“Virtual Escort” is designed to allow the user to hold down a button on their smart phone in advance of being in a compromising situation, if help is required you would let go of the button. The user has 5 seconds to cancel or allow the time to expire which will activate the alarm to the central station. A few examples when you might use this feature would be walking to your car late at night, or at an ATM machine.

The “Keep me Safe Timer” allows you to set a predetermined time for an event such as a home showing, meeting someone to sell an item, going for a run, etc. Along with setting the time, our app lets you text information about this event to our central station software, such as who you are meeting, exact location etc. This way we capture all the pertinent details of the event before you activate the timer.
At the start of the timer, which can be set from 5 minutes to 4 hours, the smart phone will send to our system your GPS location and the amount of time you set. The timer triggers the event in our software at the central station and is logged so even if the phone is turned off or destroyed the timer is still active in our system. If the timer expires, a duress alarm activation will occur. The timer can be extended and or ended with a valid password.
