Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing URMET iUVS on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. It stops working ever now and then. Uninstalled it and installed it again. Channels "number" couldn't be corrected so it won't connect for this error.

Rubbish! Remote playback never works!! Avoid this App

The application has an issue with remote playback and the AHD Cameras. The application will pause playback footage with AHD cameras when you change the time of footage. The footage remains still in one frame and you need to stop the playback and start over again. This will not solve the issue, the app will still freeze the footage when you generally play around with it on AHD cameras.

URMET iUVS is a mobile phone CCTV application developed for Android OS.
Recent iUVS versions support Android 3.0 and higher; for older Android versions, please contact URMET customer service.
URMET iUVS compatible with the URMET D1 and WD1 H.264 range of DVRs, i.e. the following models:
- D1 DVR models: 1093/002, 1093/003, 1093/004A, 1093/008, 1093/016
- WD1 DVR models: 1093/004H, 1093/008H, 1093/016H, 1093/019H

For the new WD1 DVR ranges (-H models) compatibility with URMET DDNS web service (http://www.urmetddns.com) is also supported.

- bug fixing: when connecting to HVR channels, the app sometimes displays CH1 only, the remaining channels must be added in the live grid one by one manually.
- bug fixing: when adding an HVR in the list and the app connects to HVR automatically after login, the app doesn’t display the Mobile Stream for IP channels.
- bug fixing: sometimes IPC having 2018 firmware version cannot be connected by P2P ID.
