Problems: When I strayed from the route it said "recalculating" then completely lost the route and I had to restart the app repeatedly. The navigator is v quiet and does not suspend other audio. Current state of Dublin cycle lanes, fractured short cycle lanes that are shared with unaware pedestrians or angry bus drivers. The app led me on a route with almost no continuity. Turns every few hundred metres and I was unable to gain speed. It felt more dangerous than just sharing the road with cars.

This app is disappointing . 1. It doesn't support Eircodes and 2. The map information is very buggy. I want to plan a cycle to aviva stadium but I can't do it as the eircode is unrecognised and the location for aviva stadium is wrong. Its leads me to an emergency exit on the opposite side of venue. I'll stick with Google maps which is the only reliable map of Dublin at the moment.

Update: Routes improved after feedback sent. 1st review: Main route from Finglas to city on N2 main road with outdated cycle path is rated 27% bike friendly. App suggests a "98%" bike friendly route from Finglas but it suggests to take a cycle forbidden pedestrian footbridge, to go down a laneway which has numerous dumped rubbish and glass, then it suggests to cycle through a field overgrown with grass and zero pavement. Another suggestion was to cycle through Glasnevin Cemetery.

I have to say for free app this is very good. You can generate random route base on the criteria and distance that was sent. Plus generated route can be shared/exported to GPX and use with bike computer! And I live option to report problem with bike lanes etc. Ps. When I click to share/export GPX it doesn't display option to open app like Wahoo software or option to save GPX to the phone to open with other app later on.

The beta version showed all my rides on a map. This was great for seeing the routes I ride regularly. Now the map is blank so the app has lost a lot of value to me. It's been great up to now. 😟
