Although the app says its showing the tides for Scarborough, it is in fact showing the nearest tide station which is Hull (showing 3:24pm for Thursday 20th Feb 2020 - should be 2:11pm). So pretty useless unless you live near one and there aren't many. Other apps either honestly say the nearest they do or more accurately calculate for your actual location.

Tide times were wrong by around 80 minutes!! I triple checked the date then checked against two other sources including BBC. Deleting!

Hmm looking ahead - say mid-December, it still claims that times are BST. Clearly not applicable.

About this app

Track the tide times for England, Wales, Northern Island and Scotland, including Bognor Regis, Bournemouth, Brighton, Bristol, Clacton-On-Sea, Dover, Folkestone, Hastings, Ipswich, Liverpool, London Bridge, Lowestoft, Newquay, Southampton, Southend-On-Sea, Swanage, Torquay, Cardiff, Swansea, Belfast, Dundee, Inverness, Peterhead, St Kilda, Isle of Man. In total 224 locations throughout the country are covered. Displays the low and high tides for the day, allowing selection of any date through to December 2015. The map uses your GPS to make it easier to select the port to display. No internet connection is needed for the tide times although the maps do require data to display. The sunrise and sunset times for the port selected are also shown.
