The only rename app that worked. After a long journey through ones that didn't. I wanted to rename Messages (such a bad name! how many types of message are there today?!!). I wanted to name it SMS. Tried loads of other shortcut apps, but though they could rename some things, they could not rename Messages. They just kept creating a new shortcut called Messages. Or they created one called SMS but it went to the wrong place, straight into a new message instead of the main message list screen. Aycon just worked. Haven't tried icon editing yet, but the rename alone is worth the five stars.

Once I worked out that you need to drag the widget onto the desktop to get it to create a working shortcut I was very pleased with it. Works on my S7 Edge, Tab A 10.1, wife's S7 & sons J7 Duo (all running Oreo) plus my new S10+ 5G (running Android 10). Unlike most others you can delete the app without losing your shortcuts & you don't get a stupid overlay on the icons without paying. Brilliant app & after trying over 30 others this is the only one I have kept & use.

looks like great app, thanks to the developers. 🙏 i haven't tried to change any icons yet. for now, i just want to remove the icon labels completely. at first, the app did achieve that job but it unnecessarily placed the icon in another circle, which made the icon look smaller. then i changed the theme of the stock launcher back to default. that solved the problem!

This app is awesome and works very easily. My only problem with it is getting into it without any knowledge of the app is difficult. I think if there was a pop up tutorial or something similar it would make it a lot easier to use. At first I was confused how to add the shortcut and had to go to the reviews to figure it out, but users shouldn't have to do that. It should be clear from the beginning.

This is the best app that I found for what I'm using it for. I changed the icons of many apps and it worked perfectly

Only app that works on Android 10 and does not require to remain installed and does not put shortcut logo. Finally - the way to use this is to use the widget option than set your shortcut, but here is the trick, just using a widget is not enough, you have to select the icon and even if you select the same icon that is the only way to get around the force close and make it work.
