The app is just the Nexia app reskinned, but at least it all still works for me. My main issue is that I was forced to get the American Standard thermostat to be able to control all the features of my new system (like variable speed fan) since it is proprietary. It is controlled at the thermostat instead of at the furnace so a 3rd party Nest or Ecobee, etc won't work for those features. However, the American Standard / Nexia thermostats lock out 3rd party smart hubs like SmartThings from controlling them. So you have no choice but to use their app even though every other smart device in my house can be controlled by a standard ZWave hub like SmartThings or Home Assistant. At least it will accept voice commands from Google Home, but still disappointed they don't have an API to make it truly useful.

I have downloaded this app as required for remote access to my thermostat, replacing the current app. It will not accept my password. I have tried numerous times to reset it. Even though this app tells me I will receive an email to reset it, it never comes. Now, I've been locked out! I give up! If I could give this app negative stars I would. I choose walking down the hall to adjust temps like before we had such capabilities. The app that works fine (Nexia) is being eliminated. What a shame!

Wish the app could tell me more of the things that the main display tells me. Wish I could add my events to my scheduling and that heating and cooling could be scheduled separately. I'd like it to be 70 in the summer and the winter but heating and cooling have to be a few degrees apart which makes sense if the thermostat is set to heating and cooling but doesn't if it is only set to one.

Tech Support is good. The app did not work immediately after I installed it. I had to call the support line. That caused me to have to de-register and re-register my thermostat. After a few hoops, the app recognized the thermostat. After the tech was off the phone, I tried to turn off the Allergy filter and set the filter to Auto. It did not work. I have mixed ideas about the app. I don't mind going to the thermostat to make changes. I think the folks at American Standard need to troubleshoot this app more extensively as it appears to be somewhat fluky... I gave it so many stars because they want to do a good thing and they added some whistles and bells. Like all things, time wounds all heals....

This app does not work. I tried switching from the Nexia app (which always worked). It keeps asking me to navigate to the Nexia enrollment screen to enter a 5 digit code but that screen does not exist. There are no instructions how to find the screen and (surprisingly) a Google search yielded zero solutions. I've tried every button/option on my thermostat; there is no place to enter the code. Something is defective about this app so I'll keep using the Nexia app for now.

Love being able to control my heating and cooling from my phone, especially when I'm not home. I turned off my heater when I went on vacation last month and turned it back on via my phone about 4 hours before I got back. The house was toasty warm when we entered instead of being down at 56 degrees. It also has a history graph to let you know how much the system runs on a daily basis. Five 🌟stars.
