Only works well for simple songs with a distinct soundscape. There are three features I would like to see: 1) When using more than one lightbulb, add an option to make all the lights strobe in sync, instead of alternating. 2) A frequency spectrum slider which tells the algorithm which frequencies to measure amplitudes of, so that you could e.g. make the lights change according to the bass track of the song only. 3) option to listen directly to audio output of phone, and not use microphone.

I really like the fact that people put extra effort in developing these kind of apps in their free time. The app is extremely well designed and works flawlessly. It truly adds a lot of value to the tradfri product line. It is by far the cheapest way to get quality smart lighting at home.

When recording something (snapchat) the lights suddenly just freeze due to mic being used. Can you update to continue running in background or use device audio or release a Party option on Melodi Flow. Would like to see a higher max speed when changing colours in Melodi Flow

Its great. this app is acactly what tradfri needed to have. It's well worth the money, but I hope that they wil add additional features like contiguous slow changing of colours of your choosing, indipendent of music.

Works brilliantly, controls my selected lights to the beat of pretty much anything, not just music. Nice looking UI and easy to use.

It's great, does exactly what it says on the tin and its an hilarious party trick. Only downside: you need to keep the app open for it to work, it would be great if you could keep it running in background
