Alexa Ok, but Toyota app completely ruins it to the point I just uninstalled it. Takes forever to connect and if it even does, the play and next buttons don't work. Love Toyota but they need to stay in the car making business and not apps. Leave that to Google and support android auto.

Doesn't connect 95% of the time. Frustrating waste of time.

I have two echos at home and they work great. But Alexa in the car doesn't always work. Sometimes turning off Bluetooth and turning it back on helps. Turning the car off and on helps, but can be problematic. A lot of the time I get "I'm having trouble understanding" The volume is very quiet. I have to crank it right up and have the car on max and it resets the volume reach time. In principle, it's better than just using regular Bluetooth. Android Auto would be a much better solution.

Waste of time. Worked only once, after initial setup. Then in able to get it work at all. The Toyota-Alexa icon in the "Infotainment" section is always grayed out, basically denying any acces to the app to even work. Launching the Toyota-Alexa app from the phone does not work either. Should not advertise this feature unless it's been tested throughly. Poor app integration

Even after reading ALL the negative reviews, I tried for 3 days to get this app to run successfully in different ways. When it DID work ... it was a worthy app. But for lack of a better phrase, this is a VERY, VERY CRUMMY app. Toyota Motor North America, Inc .needs to recall this app and fix. However (after 5 or 6 days), upon further use of this app I found the Smart Device Link(SDL) to be the issue. SDL is a part of the Entune app. Sometimes upon starting Entune, SDL does not connect to the vehicle, causing Toyota+Alexa to fail. Just be sure that Entune is fully operating for this app to run successfully.

pointless. look, I like alexa in my house, I'd love to have her in my car. However, I want hands-free Alexa. I'm driving, like hello? you think I'm going to pull over to get her to work, nonsense, ill use Google. all this app does is take up space on my phone like all the other useless Toyota apps. Moving on.
