This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing MAAC Catch & Release Comp on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.

Everything was looking fine in Jan event when I wasn't fishing, but when I tried fishing in Feb the app hangs. Have uninstalled it and tried again. There is a brief android error message about denied permissions before it hangs, but I don't understand that.

About this app

MAAC runs a Catch and Release Competition in parallel with a weigh-in competition. This app is for MAAC members (and vistors) who want to fish in the Catch and Release Competition.

Use this app to photograph and record the length of a fish – the photos and records are posted to the MAAC to calculate the competition results.

Please ensure that all fish caught are in a releasable condition when photographed. Fish entered into the Catch and Release competition are not to be entered into the weigh-in competition.
