This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing OSU SafeRide on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Request a ride from OSU's SafeRide in seconds. ASOSU's SafeRide is a service dedicated to assault prevention, to OSU students, Faculty and Staff. One of the most important services we offer is free transportation to and from campus and surrounding city limits for all OSU students.

New features

In this monthly release we have squashed some minor bugs and worked on security enhancements.

Allows an application to access extra location provider commands.
Required to be able to access the camera device.
