This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing SMRTscape on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.

Nice attempt but does not show the actual zone wattering setup. It shows every days while the controller is set up every 3 days. I have to use the website to manage these settings. The only time i use the app is to manually start or stop a station. If these issues were resolved i would give 5 stars.

Horrible app. Schedules delete for no reason. Zone names reset to default zone names. Slow interface. Starting sprinklers work 1 in 10 tries. It's just bad and frustrating.

Any chance of adding notifications for when a schedule has completed or a history of schedule completions? I'm using the soil moisture sensor, but I still want to make sure the watering is happening when necessary.

The app is handy to use but very very slow loading. It seems to load between every function.

Awful app. Ridiculously slow to do anything and now will not work at all. Gives an error every time and is completely unusable.

In order to access your EVOLUTION controller through this app, you will need to have installed a Toro Smart Connect® (Part Number: EVO-SC) and a Toro SMRT Logic™ Internet gateway (Part Number: SMRT-T). Also your EVOLUTION series controller will need to be updated to firmware version 3.10, or later. Which is available for download at www.toro.com/en/evolution.

In order to access your KD2 controller through this app, you will need to have installed a SMRT Logic/Climate Logic® Mini Receiver Bundle Kit (Part Number: SMRT-CLMR-KIT) or Climate Logic® Weather Sensing System, (Part Number: CL-100-WIRELESS) and a SMRT Logic™ Gateway (Part Number: SMRT-T).
