This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Daily Worship on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.

Nor an app for anyone who needs large prinr. The "large" font size, is not applled to the readings and canticles and I can't find a setting to turn off the pointing in the Psalms.

The Priest recommended this. Sadly it's virtually unusable on my Samsung phone. The calendar selection is atrocious, and I keep getting stuck in an endless loop of buttons. I believe if a professional went over the app and repaired it a bit, Daily Worship would be an invaluable resource. *Update* It works slightly better now. I notice that unlike the Church of England's 'Daily Prayer' app, this one does not allow you to choose traditional-language services, making it practically unusable by me

It is great to have an app specific to the Church of Ireland & i applaud this but definitely some small glitches to be ironed out! Today's scripture passage would not open which was disappointing. Also no toggles worked for me on settings. Not sure if they should be charging for the app at this stage....

Would love to use this but the 'choose service' menu is completely broken on android and the readings would not load either which is a real shame. Also the font is a poor choice for accessibility, not dyslexic friendly! A real shame! Hopefully it can be improved :)

Trying to use the function to select service. The menu option comes up but cannot click on either one. Have to click my back button to get out. Same occurs when I go into Settings.

The Church of Ireland’s Daily Worship app brings the Book of Common Prayer into the smartphone era by presenting its content in one place, including Bible readings and liturgies for each day of the year. The app covers five services – Daily Prayer (Morning), Daily Prayer (Evening), A Late Evening Office, Compline, and Holy Communion – and draws on the rich liturgical resources of the Church of Ireland.
