The app often has issues with booking tickets, causing you to fail the booking or double book. Often you cannot refund the double booked tickets. Also, they will sell you tickets with cancelled connections and not refund the full amount. Had I not noticed that the connection was cancelled I would have been stuck in Bologna for 27 hours. Then they won't refund you a ticket for the full amount, rather refunding 50 dollars for an 80 dollar ticket. Just buy direct from the train, pointless app.

The app requires you to fill out profiles so it knows who is traveling then allows you to book conflicting journeys anyway. The mistake was mine on the date, but they could and should have easily have prevented it. Customer service was no help at all as you might expect. Now I have 2 first class tickets I can't use and I will be renting a car instead of dealing with this.

Customer service doest appear to exist. I don't understand why this app has high reviews. It suggested the wrong station to purchase a ticket, highlighting it as the best option. Once purchased, it kept erroring out and wouldn't let me update the ticket to a new station or time, and then refused a refund. So I had to spend 3 times more on a first class ticket on short notice. Working as designed? You have to use Google to find out the actual station you need, so what's the point of this app?

The old app is so much better. This one is less intuitive (especially adding saved passengers) and feels laggy. Engineers, replacing a great working native app by something similar to oui.sncf's horrible webview isn't the way to go. What makes trainline so great is the clean UI and lag-free experience. Sure, this web-based version will be easier to update but what's the point if you're giving up the main features?

Maybe good other places but not in Italy. Conditions stated we had an hour to change trains after original departure. We had a late train and ever time I clicked change the app errored out! Said I had to call support. The number provided was out of order! Horrible experience! No support. Luckily a local also missed and helped explain to local ticket station for us. We got a train that put us much later and had to pay more. Very poor experience with app here.

I thought this app would be easier than buying tickets at the station. Man was I wrong. According to the app there was only one train running from the city I am staying in to the city a several kilometers away. There were two if not three trains running every hour. Also the app was saying I was 9 euro for the trip. I paid 4.5 euro at the station.
