This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing iFish Alberta on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

Doesn't seem to want to try and update. Nor do some of the other features respond. I have tried the turn off and on option. Otherwise I like it, it can be a great quick look up tool. Although I have made several attempts to contact the app owner/vendor I have received no contact whatsoever to correct the updating issues. I am experiencing the same with the ifish Saskatchewan app, (just purchased 4 July 2020. If these apps are not being supposed then they should notify all clients for a full refund. I bought these apps in good faith but it would seem that the vendor has made their money and run. To change the way the app performs and then charge extra for features is very unethical. I feel that if the vendor is not going to supply clients with the updates he should remove these apps from the market and quit ripping people off.

Was a good app when they kept it up to date. Now it is garbage, do not waste your money. I cannot believe they are still selling this app and it hasn't been updated since 2018 (it's now 2020) and alot has changed in that time.

Was awsome purchased this app when it first came out the I also purchased the rivers loved the app, not so much anymore been trying to update , and see maps , depth charts cant see nothing guess they got their money and get out

If I had to choose again between burning my money or purchasing this app I'd choose the first. Can't update and keeps freezing all the time.

Not updated on regs. Save your money. It's very glitchy, the maps don't load properly and most of the reviews on things like ice thickness, etc are old. Also, just because it says a certain type of fish is in a lake doesn't mean it actually is.

I paid for the app last year, constantly getting large ads filling half my screen still. Google maps integration on the "hot spots" is broken and has been for a while. Never seems to keep me logged in. About the only useful thing is to find lakes and species info when I am out and about driving in the province.
