wishing I could see sentry cams with this app. summon is awesome. wishing I could move the car like i would with a joystick or D-Pad, that'll probably happen in the future. minimal interface is good. glad it's simple to understand for folks who don't like tech. solar panel ad is good. cool experience to have a user guide at first launch. glad i can control climate and steering heater. need sentry cam viewer... I'm bored sitting here and doing deliveries without it.

The app isn't bad, league's above other car apps out there. I give it 3 stars because it's just not good enough for a tech company. No major updates, not enough useful tools and screens. All car settings and especially the charging scheduling should be mirrored in the app. There should be a way to put the car into "Deep Sleep" remotely. There should be a way to check on the car and verify it's in "Deep Sleep" from the app without waking it up. Phantom drain when the car is awake is ridiculous.

Good news as of July 6th, 2021, they have finally fixed the Key Board sitting on top the Msg Box bug, hiding what you are trying to type when requesting Service. Thank you for fixing this!!! Now please move the Next Button up so it is Not Hidden under the Keyboard. Additional On Off controls would be appreciated to control access to stuff the App has no reason to access. This app has access to the following..! Photos/Media/Files: read the contents of your USB storage, modify or delete the contents of your USB storage !! Calendar: add or modify calendar events and send email to guests without owners' knowledge, read calendar events plus confidential information. Location: precise location (GPS and network-based), approximate location (network-based). Camera: take pictures and videos. Storage: read the contents of your USB storage, modify or delete the contents of your USB storage. Microphone: record audio. Wi-Fi connection information: view Wi-Fi connections. Device ID & call information: read phone status and identity. Contacts: read your contacts. Phone: read phone status and identity, Other: download files without notification, receive data from Internet, view network connections, run at startup, prevent device from sleeping, pair with Bluetooth devices, access Bluetooth settings, control Near Field Communication, full network access, control vibration, Google Play license check, read Google service configuration. Rest of App works fine, with easy to use Remote Control features.

Great usually but inconsistent in phone connectivity. Currently and for last couple months, car will not lock when walking away. Doesn't matter which phone. Not sure if it's the Bluetooth, the app or the car software but I have to do it manually now which is a little more hassle than just walking away knowing it will lock reliably. Also it takes forever to first connect and wake up! Still very grateful. Good app anyway.

I think there could be more information presented. More of what's on the controls display in the car. Also, it's very easy to accidentally make a purchase. I wanted to get FSD and selected it. I was expecting a confirmation box. Nope. Just spent $10,000. And Tesla makes it very difficult to unwind a purchase.

Update: I found a workaround. On my Samsung S10+, I added Tesla to the Secure Folder and always keep the Tesla app on our Model 3. I am now able to have my solar/powerwalls or my Model S open in the main section on the Tesla app and I'm still able to open the Model 3 door and run the car w/out switching to the 3 profile. Can you change the Tesla app to allow users to open their Model 3 doors or unlock the charge port no matter if, in my situation, I’m on my Model S or my Powerwalls in the app?
