This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Aurora Pro Live Wallpaper on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

This app is a favorite of mine. I have used it on and off over the last several years actually, pulling it out at least for a little while each winter. The shimming effect of the aurora is so soothing and the customization options on the pro version are well worth the minimal cost. The only problem I have is that it will not create a homepage icon for me.

Very nice app, good customization options. It doesn't create an icon for the settings though, so if i switch wallpaper i tend to forget i have this one. There's an option to create an icon on the homescreen but it's never worked for me.

I was forced to delete the app to release storage space on my Huawei Android T3 ... the restrictions on storage makes it impossible to safeguard unusual apps, not directly necessary to essential tablet functions. My standard live wallpaper is a galaxy one, ephemeral stars and light, black space and no planets or meteors ...
