I bought this because I thought it was a good deal,it turned out to be a disaster. it loses navigation around Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan and over the road. this reminds me of the older GPS from the 1990s. it's slow, and if you go off route it sometimes loses navigation. their is a lot more I can tell you. but if you want a reliable navigation for your truck stick with Garmin or gemini trucking app. like they say you get what you pay for, and in this case you get really bad service.

I wish the favorites search engine actually worked. Since companies often have multiple locations, I have the city and state abbreviation in parentheses. If I enter the state abbreviation, it will find all favorites in that state perfectly, but if I enter the city name, it won't find anything at all. I put the street address in notes because otherwise it will have you driving thru fences, thru schoolyards, over RR tracks where there is no crossing. Pretty disappointed with all that.

Thank you Smart Truck Route: Whereas no GPS is perfect, I find this app to be the most convenient by far. I will usually run this app while also running the company provided BIG NAME GPS to get the best results. I also have another GPS that I purchased at a truck stop, but it usually isn't used. (I let my students use it.) If the driver wants to change a planned stop on the fly, it is much easier to do with this app on a dash mounted cell phone than it is on the dedicated GPS.

I just extended my service an additional three more years. The past three years were amazing. Live everything. It's Google mapping. The only difference is that it's for truckers. Well worth the money spent. The subscription is affordable, especially with what you're getting. I enjoy simply talking to my tablet of the name and location of where I want to go, and it pops right up. The last thing and likely the most important is. Customer service. If you need them, they actually answer the phone 👍

Behind a pay wall for the absolute most basic need of a map. Do not download. EDIT; "Your subscription has been cancelled, please renew your subscription to set up a route". Regardless what the dev says, it is behind a paywall for the most basic function of a map. Do not download. Edit 2; First time I ever downloaded to use it is today. Do not use. The most basic function of a map is behind a paywall.

We use this Truck GPS as we travel with a large RV. It is great because we can input our height and length measurements and this GPS has never steered us wrong (pun intended). I love that we can see elevations, wind alerts and truck stops. This app keeps getting better and better as they make updates and I like that they give me a notification on when something has changed and how to use the new feature. Just renewed another year as we really find this service useful.
