Cannot believe how bad this thing is. CONSTANT communication errors, CONSTANT Bluetooth connection errors. When Scout GPS is in use, you cannot use voice commands to make a call. No voice alerts or map display of traffic issues except on overview map, and that is incomplete. Cannot edit the names of saved destinations. This is strictly amateur hour, just a poorly designed and implemented app that Toyota should never have used in their vehicles.

I wish there was a zero star option. I have to use this app for my 2019 Toyota RAV4. It has simply quit working with my vehicle. When I push my "map" button, I get about 30 seconds of circling before I get a message that there was a communication error. Disgusted with this shabby app! EDIT: Didn't think it was possible for this app to get worse, but it has. Spare me your "reaching out" nonsense. Can't believe I spent $30k on a vehicle and I have to buy a Garmin

Its ok for integration with Toyota. But to be honest I use Google maps so the voice guidance comes over my music. Using the Toyota nav with scout link the voice guidance is so quiet and does not mute music. Toyota issue tho. The one thing I wish is please make scout link load in the background when it connects to the vehicle. Every time I'm trying to read or respond to a message or pick music and it pops up and interferes with what I'm doing. And then is so slow to load I have to wait.

If there was any way to give negative stars, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Maybe I get a 10% success rate of it connecting to the vehicle, whether by Bluetooth or by USB. Loves to lock up on one of the instructional screens, especially after telling me to turn on the already ready Entune app. Works on the phone, but merrily shuts off about 5 minutes into the drive even while plugged in & charging on the USB. Few things I hate more in life than this bug-ridden app. Thanks for nothing, Toyota.

This unfortunately is the app Toyota decided to use in my 2019 Avalon. It works just barely to meet their requirement to have a GPS app. It is primitive in the service it does compared apps like Google maps. It spoiled my enjoyment of my car. Sorry, app developer. Get out and use it in your own vehicle and you will probably agree with me. Nice try.

The app seems more stable than 10 months ago. Works well with the AI voice in the Toyota. One issue is sometimes it will find destinations thousands of miles away but not one with the same name nearby or it doesn't find a destination at all. Another option good to have would be to stay behind other apps. There are times I just need to use Google Maps because it is aware of traffic and construction better. It is irritating to have to keep shoving this app to the back.
