This app is way to basic. This app does not reflect all the availble data on thermostat. We have hundreds of 519s installed and our biggest customer complaint is that they are too confusing. We thought that with the wifi 561 stats that we as plumbers would have the abilities to log into our clients homes and get real time data of floors temps, room temps, outside temps and make adjustments remotely. End users dont understand the max and min floor temp settings. This app to be perfect should have a plumber login mode that the client can enable and allow the plumber to login remotely and see everything on the stat. All data not just air temp settings. The plumber should have the ability to change any setting. In addition there should be the ability to create email alerts for end users and plumbers to get various alerts like low temperature alerts, or exessive run times etc. Tekmar has been in the game a long time but they totally missed the boat with wifi technology. They should of been the first and the best instead the wasted time and resources creating gateways that are becoming more and more obsolete. The radiant stat with floor sensor is not a huge market and tekmar has had most of it. However if other and better manufacturers drift into this marker tekmar will be replaced. Their end user interface has never been good from day one. And this app has totally gone the other way. Where it really does nothing. A great app would create value to both the installer and the end user.
