About this app

This tool allows tourists with disability to get touristic accessible guides in accessible formats on their mobile devices. Currently only Madrid city guides are available. The application is complemented with sticks and posters in the city to ease application and guide download

Objectives:

Improve the accessibility information and conditions of touristic destinations
Increase autonomy conditions to visit touristic destinations to people with disability
Enable users to move around more freely

Users can download the application and guides using either NFC tags or QR codes you can find in touristic information point throughout Madrid. The list of points with QR and NFC tags at Madrid can be found here(http://www.esmadrid.com/es/portal.do?&IDM=971&NM=2&TR=C&IDR=625)

Users are allowed to read accessible guides in their smartphone describing accessible touristic routes related to the point the tags are placed.
