The layout and understanding of this app is totally easy. This is my first time filing an it was a breeze. If you need to go back and change something it was also easy to do without any confusion. Definitely will be using Taxslayer in the future. Also, only $107.00 to do taxes verse $300+ with other leading tax prep services. A+ in my book.

The layout of the app Is pretty comparable to Turbotax yet not quite as simplistic and as automatic but still easy to work with. I also got a better return and the services offered are free for federal but not state even though they claim you get one state free. Overall it is cheaper than Turbo tax who wanted to charge me $150 for my return this year and give me less money compared to the $40 I paid with Tax Slayer and more money in my return.

My w2 and 1099 were elctronically sent to me. So ivhad to multitask with my phone. Every time i minimized app to get numbers from my other documents my information was erased from app and i had to start that section over. Made the entire process hard to do in timely manner. Also, i was under impression that it would be FREE. But there is absolutely no way around the $17 "classic ad on" fee. I did not add this on.

Terrible for the self employed like myself. If you try using the calculator on your device to add up receipts, this app will delete all information you currently have typed in on a page you're working on. It also does not show you your actual profit after all expenses are added up. I will just go back and pay my old CPA again.

Filing my taxes using this app turned out to be a unnecessarily painful ordeal solely because of the sheer number of glitches and bugs I ran into, along with the poorly designed session expiration system which makes you restart if you're out of the app for more than a couple minutes. I'd rather chew glass than use this app again.

Although this app's UI is easy enough to use, one of the problems that I counter is that if you manually type something in, the app will think that is smarter than you and tell you did it wrong. For example, I claimed all of my gambling loses and it told me that I can't claim more than what I won, even when I claim that I lost the same amount of money as I won. And now, And now I owe more than I should. Thanks a lot. I am trying to find a different alterative to TurboTax, but this isn't it.
