EDIT: No misunderstanding. To create an animal-free space you'd basically have to kick your pet out (for the duration of the work). I've worked with housecleaners and professional organizers who have no problem with pets around. They love pets. Takl does not! ** Beware-- if you read the fine print, you'll see that you're only allowed pets if you're getting their pet care services. You can't get help cleaning or organizing your home unless you kick your pet out first. I'm finding another service.

Jobs are advertised as more plentiful then they really are. You get a notification for 20 available jobs, open the app right away and you see 3 or 4. Hard to believe that many jobs can be posted, reviewed, requested for work, and then acceptance of work in a matter of seconds. I don't have a problem with how jobs are accepted by the provider, I have a problem with the amount of jobs that seem to be falsely advertised through the app. As stated early the notification states that there are 20+ jobs, only to open the app and find 3 or 4, this would happen nearly daily, with the same results every time. The pay on the jobs that are available are not reasonable whatsoever. I think the app is a waste of time. I have a regular job and was just going to use this app for supplemental income so it's not that big of a deal. If someone is counting on this app for reliable income, they are going to be in rough shape.

TAKl painter just marked his project complete. However, the worst painting job I have ever seen. He seemwd nice. Put in lots of late hours. But. The final product is terrible. Not in a nitpicky way. square feet of wall is left undone. Splatters. The walls only needed to be painted. But spots all over the ceiling. Everywhere paint is uneven. Noone would want this. I now foresee me having to post a complaint. I dread the process that could be. Wish me luck.

Absolutely terrible! The provider sent to do the work was fine, TAKL customer service started arguing with me when I asked questions and expressed a concern citing "I didn't read the fine print". Job clearly stated my only responsibility for the job was to make sure dogs were not in the yard.

I am a provider. Fortunatly I got in before they started charging to sign up in my area. I have made over 2k since I started and maintain a 5 star preferred status. That said, I do believe that Takl should reduce their cut to 15 to 20 percent. They do currently take approx. 40 to 50 percent of most job fees.

This is a scam! Don't believe Takl's response. They tell you the background check and onboarding fees are taken out of your first pay, but after you watch orientation videos and process your own payment information they then want you to pay the 30 dollars up front before you can even register for a chance at your first job.
