Nice idea let down by poor software. Took several re-installs to establish connection between the thermometer and the app. Quite long to measure the temperature and the following defects were discovered: 1) No sound alarm on high temperature, though readings change the colour from green to red; 2) Alarm sounds non-stop while the thermometer is warming up; 3) If the phone is switched off and on, all settings revert to the defaults. Returned as not useful for the purpose.

I do not know why I cannot pair it with TD-1261 thermometer, but I can pair it in phone bluetooth app. However this app do not see it.
