Using BlueStacks

Used to use start page sometimes before, and then decided to try and use another private search engine one for awhile. Saw an add for start page and did not know if was still in existence or not, so, I decided to go back and use it again. So, glad I saw the ad. I went ahead & did a search on google play, downloaded it & added the app to my android phone screen.

I want to say I remember this app being decent about a year ago. Everytime I've used it this year, it's basically been worthless Results are either slim to none or they are totally unrelated to my search. That being said, I have a major issue with the app as of today. It simply won't search. No matter the keywords I cannot get the app to actually search rendering it entirely useless. Why? I got Tor/Onion which is what I'll stick to. I'll wait a month for a fix, otherwise I'll be uninstalling

I love it & it does what it says & geez the results compared to most popular search engines are significantly different. I don't have to go thru million pages but question. Does it not have option to set as preferred browser? If I try to open web page thru mail it says no app installed as browser.

I use this occasionally, but it really isn't that good. Everytime you open the app it tells you to use a shortcut of the website because it works better. The sad thing is that it does. No matter what I change in the settings, everything I search ends up 70% in another language or totally unrelated. This doesn't happen with the website. If your app doesn't work that well, doesn't that defeat the entire purpose of having one? I hate having to dig to find anything useful.

It's amazing and definitely underrated on desktop but this... is kinda awful. Crashes and only shows links, no images and all that... also, when you type something in, it takes you to the first suggested search instead of not taking you anywhere.

Just stopped working, typed something into the search, clicked magnifying glass search, virtual keyboard flashed and magnifying glass icon goes pale blue and freezes , reinstalled twice, still not working on Moto g6 play, what's happening, working fine until 2 hrs ago....
