About this app

Aurora is a natural phenomenon that resembles a glowing beam of light on the ionospheric layer of a planet as a result of the interaction between the planet's magnetic field and charged particles emitted by the Sun (solar wind).
On earth, aurora occurs in areas around the North Pole and its magnetic South Pole. Aurora that occurred in the northern region is known as Aurora Borealis (IPA / ɔˈɹɔɹə bɔɹiˈælɪs /), named after the goddess Fajar Rom, Aurora, and the Greek name for north wind, Boreas. This is because in Europe, auroras often appear reddish in the northern horizon as if the sun will rise from that direction. Aurora borealis always occurs between September and October and March and April. The aurora phenomenon in the south known as Aurora Australis has similar properties. But sometimes aurora appears on the top of a mountain in a tropical climate.
