I share the concern from others about the fact that settings disappear so quickly. There is always high frequency noise which can only be solved by lowering the treble level (e.g. by clicking the "comfort" setting on Auto Sense), but the noise comes back shortly after I leave the app on my phone. As a result, the only solution to the noise is to turn down the volume by -2. I have tried turning off notifications on the phone (which is annoying, because I only use two, one for texts and the other for important emails), and even that doesn't make the settings stick.

Will not pair with my phone. Tried all the steps several times. Phone finds the hearing aid, but app refuses to pair the two. Pretty useless. UPDATE:. After several more attempts I finally got the app to pair. Made some adjustments to my hearing aid that appear to be working and have improved the performance. Chasing the rating to 3 stars for the moment.

I participated in a dealer trial of the hearing aids with the APP over several days. I tried out the Audeo P-RT hearing aids and was impressed up to the point the custom program I created kept dropping. It's a genuine nuisance to have to tweek the APP every time I want to watch TV or listen to music while I work on our RV or drive it. I was ready to plunk down almost 6,000 dollars on the hearing aids until I discovered this issue. That was back in March and the vendor indicated that they expected a patch next month. Given these reviews are still flowing in I am glad I ignored the "promise" of a timely resolution. I'll start looking elsewhere. This product and its related APP were shipped too soon. I've worked in software support, development and test for 30 years. I know the line "we are working on it" means there is no commitment to resolution. Sad.

I've been using this app now for several months. The app is buggy; it doesn't retain settings and the Bluetooth connection is unreliable, requiring frequent manual pairing with my phone. Most distressing to me is that these are the same issues that have been documented by users for a long time. Phonak's solution seems to be more along the lines of consoling users or providing condescending suggestions (E.g., Did you try cycling the power on your hearing aids?), rather than actually taking action to fix the problems with the app. My KS9's generally work pretty good in auto mode, but I expect they would work a lot better if I had an app that would actually work as advertised.

Doesn't work very well it can't connect to the hearing aids most of the time. And you would think since android is the most used phone system in the world that it would work with it better. After uninstalling and reinstalling the app I got it to work. I hope I don't have to do that every time I get an app update. And it keeps reverting to autosense when I do anything else on my phone (answer texts, calls play games) and I have all feedback and tones turned off.

Overall it's just disappointing. The idea that you can control your hearing aids on the spot with your phone is very appealing. This app is not well constructed, is not reliable, is not intuitive, is not helpful. I've stopped using my hearing aids as a consequence of this app and the hearing aids ability to easily cope with my hearing environments. In My opinion, and I'm VERY technically competent, the app could be improved easily and ergonomically.
