Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Solid - Solid Color Wallpapers on PC Windows and Mac.

Simple UI places everything you need at your fingertips. I knocked off one star because the "black" wallpaper wasn't completely black. Using this app to create a custom color value of 000000 (Hexadecimal for "lacking any color") was very easy, though.

Would be even better is while editing I could change the HEX value, not only the brightness. Would also be nice to be able to add a name to the colors one creates.

Comes in very handy, allows you to SAVE walls of colors you select and provides great, simple material color pallets... and the newest update made the app AD-FREE. Young dev releasing great tools, I approve.

Love the random solid colors, which you can set up to change at intervals. I like setting it to a new color every day. Wish the colors would also change on the lock screen, but non-app developers can't be choosers.
