Deceptive - looks great, looks like it should be the hue app. It's not the real one, which means I connected unknown third parties to a device hard-wired on my network that talks to everything else, and paid into it thinking I'd get the features that are missing because they are on the real app. Should have looked more into it, but this is pretty reckless and dangerous to setup.

Couldn't actually find out what features it offered. First you have to agree to a 3-day trial then its $4.99 a week???? Or $6.99 a month or $19.99 one time. I'm genuinely confused at this point because it won't even show you what the app looks like until you've selected something. Then after agreeing to a trail I go to look and OMG. NO FEATURES TO BE FOUND. It looks identical to the offical Philips hue app. So don't waste your time or money, I already did that for you.

Used to be 5 stars. But changed it to 1. We use Hue Strips in our RV. When the official Hue app required an update at the bridge we had to find an alternative app and this one was it. For the last 4 or 5 months this app was perfect for controlling the Hue Strips. Now when I launch this app, it immediately crashes. Unless the Developers release an update for this app, my hue devices are no long "Smart".

There's a lag that didn't used to between there between changing colors on the lights. It makes for not as much fun or interactive experience. It's clear it wants you to pay for the premium version as well. It didn't used to be like this. Major downgrade. So it this app has the capacity to be awesome but chooses to make a far less enjoyable user experience. It used to far better.

I installed this app for Bluetooth connection to Philips Hue lights and it asked for subscription for 'extra' features. There is very little you can do with the free version. I was tricked as it comes top of the list when you search for 'Philips Hue Bluetooth'. I'd recommend don't install and, instead, go for the official 'Philips Hue' app. It does work for Bluetooth too.

Phillips is using ads in an app REQUIRED to operate even one single light bulb? And I have to pay for a *subscription* for it to be ad-free? They aren't just ad banners at the top or bottom of the screen, they're full screen ads that you have to endure and then close before performing any function, and they pop up after every single thing you do. Zero stars. I'm about to return the bulb just so I don't have to deal with the hassle.
