Has been going off every minute for a half hour... for the wind i guess. Someone pulls in the drive way, it won't even alert you. It crashed on me the other day right after it went off and i couldn't check it, so that was cool. Not to mention the blurry lag when the camera starts recording, better hope whatever set it off isn't in those first couple seconds, cause you can't see it. Def looking for a new, more reliable system.

I live in Michigan, and we are in the middle of a winter storm. EVERY time the wind picks up the notification goes off...I had to turn off the notifications around 1 am because it wouldn't stop! People drive on the street it goes off. I have changed positions for it; still goes off. Cats, wind, everything sets it off. Not much security is offered if I have to turn it off every night. And no sound either. I have asked for help with this. None of that either.

Want a birdhouse camera that goes off every time there's a slight breeze (even with sensitivity turned down) and no AI fliter for things like...birds? A forced cloud upload for every "event" that will max out your ISP's upload limit in less than a week (even if you install a SD card)? How about an app that forces your phone audio to go into call mode every time there's a notification that you have to force close the app to stop? Then this is the app for you!! Hardware is fine. App is not.

I thought this was a really good app with their cameras. I have purchased eight of them until recently, and they all worked fine until they updated, and one camera failed during the update. Trying to get it replaced under warranty is impossible. They keep telling me to try the same things. They do not believe the video I sent or the pictures. Buyer beware

UPDATE: Firmware needed to be updated. All fine now. The app seemed to crash. It removed my cameras stating there is a network error. I've shutdown my phone, powered it back on and still nothing. I turned my camera off and on and now my shared viewers are getting blank alerts of my movememt in my home. I removed the app and reinstalled it and now I am unable to sign on the app. The sign in button is disabled. I can't even reset my password to sign in.

The app is clunky to use if you're not subscribing. I use the basic, free service with an SD card. sometimes what is captured temporarily to the cloud is not the same as what's on the SD card. One or the other will be missing. It does, however have a good picture and works well with a solar panel. I also like that you can turn off the camera and turn it back on without having to manually handle the camera.
