Excellent, I already own the Star Adventurer Pro, but the odd menu structure & access is awkward if you want to make sudden changes during a session, the SAM makes it very simple & fast to change to other modes. I also love the fact that I can sit back with a hot chocolate drink & still control the unit from the comfort of my chair, giving me the chance to scan the skies with binoculars while SAM does all the work....love it... One gripe i have is if I enter 20 photos it only takes 10 why???.

This is the only way to control SAM yet it cannot connect to the sam. The PC app connects and works but this app wont. It sees the device but cannot connect. I Updated firmware, reset wifi... im still left with a 300 dollar brick. 5 star reviews from people using it as a polar finder should be deleted. That's like giving a 5 star review to a meal because you liked the fork.

Although this is designed to control a different model Star Adventurer than I own, the polar scope alignment tool is very useful. I own the Star Adventurer Pro, which is not controlled by app. Still, this is definitely worth a few MB of your devices storage!

Right out of the gate, the app tells me I have no location sensor, and does not pick up my gps coordinates. My gps is on and working just fine in other apps. Suggestions?
