I love the concept behind this app, but the products the app had information for was VERY limited, to the point the app was almost useless to me. Most of the products I searched for came up with no results or options that were the same brand, but ultimately a different product, and I was searching popular brands/products.

I first found EWG as a website and was more than thrilled to discover this app! The only downside I have is with the barcode scanner... I have to hold my phone very still, even breathing will mess it up and unfocus the camera. Other than that, I would love to have this app be my right hand guide for navigating the tricky sickly items in a grocery store

I used to love this app and site, but it has majorly declined. There are barely any popular brands up there, such as MAC or NARS. There used to be a larger database of brands and items. They used to give information on household cleaning products too, and have fully removed them. They also used to provide suggestions to swap out to safer products. I'm not really sure what the point of this app is anymore. Its fairly useless.

The concept for this app is great but the database needs to expand to include more products which, I imagine is a difficult ever growing task with so many products in every category on the market. I wish there was an option to simply check for ingredients within a product if the product has not yet been added to the database and given a score. Being able to take a pic of the ingredients and show some pros and cons for each and maybe alternative ingredients that would make the product score higher would be useful as well.

I scanned 12 items and only one item showed information about the product. It could be that this app's database is based on American products. Other than that it's VERY easy to use and shows a lot of info about the product in its information database. I like it that you can add to the database with products that you have at home but show no results.

I really want to love this app but it's been a challenge to use. When I try to use the scanner, almost 9/10 times the product isn't available on the app. Also, the scanner scans too fast, making it impossible to focus in on the barcode. EWG - please listen to the feedback you've been getting on this app to make it more user friendly. I love your website and what you all do, and I'd really like to love this app too.
