This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing SimplePractice for Clinicians on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

Loved the app until the recent update. Now it crashes every time I open it. Currently unusable on my android Samsung. Please fix because the app is very helpful. **Update 5-18-2021** I updated my phone as suggested but the app still won't work. I uninstalled the app and now it works fine! But as soon as I activate the password feature it freezes again. Bah! Please fix!

Good app, lousy customer service. No ability to talk with a person related to problems with the app or response in a timely manner to acute issues. Fees are more than other apps to run credit cards.

Your app for phone or tablet is not as good as the website on a computer, it could just be user error. The screen in video won't auto rotate. I am not able to add note in session on the tablet so I can't do concurrent documentation. I will keep playing with it and see if it's just me.

This app is incredibly limited compared to functionality in the web version. No week view, no access to client records from the contact screen, no ability to see our other clinicians' calendars, etc. Every time I attempt to use it I realize I can't do what I want to do through the app, so I've just basically given up.

No week view in calendar? The default view for the web based desktop site is week view, so is every other calendar on the planet but not on this. Makes it unusable for me because I set clients up on a repeat schedule from week to week. With out it I can't easily see what time slots are available.

How did I practice for 30 years without this system?? I love how quickly insurance is filed, unpaid copays are invoiced, unpaid insurance is tracked, New client forms are sent, beautifully typed notes are available for court, etc. Just a few tweaks that are workable will make it even more amazing as they listen to feedback . I have a few ideas and would love the process of sending feedback to be a little easier
